Ryan Carron

U.S. Navy Captain (retired) Ryan Carron is a U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD, distinguished graduate. A highly decorated Naval officer and aviator, he has recent CEO-equivalent leadership experience commanding a Naval Helicopter Wing comprised of 3600 personnel, 15 subordinate units, and 175 aircraft deployed globally.


Ryan has extensive international, special operations, and interagency experience with strong business and systems design backgrounds.  He has over 30 years of military leadership experience with multiple combat deployments and 10 years of healthcare collaboration.


After suffering a horrendous family tragedy due to a medical error, he founded MEDTOPS to bring relevant, high-reliability military aviation systems to the healthcare force.  His experience as a Stage IV cancer survivor further reinforced his life’s new mission in healthcare.


AWARDS: Ryan’s personal awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal (Strike/Flight award) x 2, Navy Commendation Medal x 5, Navy Achievement Medal, Sikorsky Rescue Award and various other unit commendations and service medals.
