Susan Surgrue

Ms. Sugrue is a public health professional with over a decade of experience advocating for patients and representing disabled communities. She now works in government contracts, focusing on healthcare quality and health equity.

Her dedication to improving patient care stems from personal and family experiences with adverse health events, including challenges during her high-risk pregnancy and the health issues faced by her premature infants.

These experiences, combined with her professional background, fuel her commitment to advocacy. With a strong foundation in public health and a passion for serving as a bridge for patients, Ms. Sugrue is now pursuing an MPH to impact macro-level processes and enhance patient safety and quality of care on a broader scale.
